Black Friday laptop Deals

With only three weeks until the big day, retailers are gearing up for the greatest sales event on the commercial calendar. This year’s Black Friday begins on November 26th, with discounts on everything from laptops, electronics, and TVs to beauty, toys, and apparel. We’re already seeing some fantastic early deals from AO and Very.
Finding the best deals among the flood of discounts is a genuine challenge, which is why we’ve released our 2023 guide to navigating Black Friday laptop deals in the US and UK like a pro. Because many of us like to wait until the sales to make significant-tech purchases, laptops are always among the most popular items during the Black Friday weekend. The yearly event offers significant discounts on gadgets from Apple, Huawei, Dell, Microsoft, and others, frequently with significant reductions on last year’s top models.

This article focuses on the best Black Friday 2023 laptop deals in the UK. Be sure to bookmark this page and return as the big day approaches, as we’ll be covering early laptop deals as they become available.

It’s not uncommon to see discounts on the most recent laptops, but in our experience, premium laptops from 2023 are more likely to drop in price throughout the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekends. With the release of the new Apple MacBook Pro and Huawei Matebook 14s in October, we’re hoping to see some appealing discounts on older generations of popular and powerful laptops.

When will the Best Black Friday Laptop Deals in 2023 begin?

2023 Black Friday falls on November 26th, but we’re already seeing some great deals on laptops in the UK ahead of that date. While the biggest reductions have traditionally been published on the day itself, in recent years we’ve seen laptop shops increasingly launch their Black Friday pricing earlier, towards the beginning of Thanksgiving week.

There are also plenty of early discounts in the weeks leading up to the main event, with some beginning as early as mid-late October. However, the best deals are available throughout the week of Black Friday. This is a pattern we anticipate seeing repeated this year. (We’ll be compiling all of the best laptop Black Friday deals here first, so bookmark this page and come back later.)

Last year, because of the pandemic, the trend towards early deals was even more obvious, with laptop prices gradually dropping between late October and mid-November before crashing at the start of Thanksgiving week. It remained low until the first week of December.

That’s a big change from the past when prices would fall significantly on the day and then immediately increase again. Of course, retailers had an incentive to start their Black Friday laptop sales earlier last year. According to Adobe Analytics statistics, the pandemic has hastened the move to online purchasing, with a more than 50% increase in 2020 compared to 2019.

Where can you find the Best Black Friday Laptop Deals?

Of course, you’ll discover all of the best Black Friday laptop deals here as soon as they become available. However, some companies are better than others when it comes to laptop discounts, and knowing which online stores are good for what might be useful. Tips for Buying a Laptop on Black Friday

What specifications should I check for when shopping for a laptop on Black Friday?

When looking for Black Friday laptop deals, keep in mind that many laptop makers and stores are seeking to get rid of old stock. You’ll come across a laptop deal that saves you a significant amount of money, only to discover that it has a three-year-old processor. That isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker; you should be able to get some work done even with an Intel Core i7-8500U.

However, keep in mind the latest laptop hardware versions. Intel CPUs, for example, should have a 10 or an 11 in front of their model number, such as the Intel Core i7-10710U. However, 9th-generation processors should be able to do the task. However, unless you’re getting a truly low discount, don’t buy an 8th-generation or earlier Intel Core processor because it will severely reduce the machine’s resale value and may result in poor performance, depending on what you use it for.

In terms of Black Friday MacBook deals, things remain rather consistent. Essentially, the most important decision you’ll have to make is the size of your hard disc. The smallest alternatives are usually more than adequate for general use but check for a deal on larger ones that might increase your storage for very little more money.

Finally, many Black Friday laptop deals will try to sell you a laptop with insufficient RAM. As a general guideline, you should aim for at least 8GB of RAM on a Windows laptop, and 16GB if you intend to do any serious work on it. If you’re looking for a Black Friday Chromebook discount, 4GB will suffice, but 8GB is a must.

What about Gaming Laptop Deals on Black Friday?

If you’re looking for a gaming laptop, look for one that has a current-generation Nvidia GPU. The latest top-of-the-line graphics processors from Nvidia are the GeForce 30-series, which will enable ray-tracing in games. However, older GPUs such as the RTX 2060, and GTX 1660 Ti, and even cheaper GPUs such as the GTX 1650 will gladly chug along fairly nicely at 1080p gaming, albeit at lower settings.

Some of the biggest price reductions may be on computers with these features, so they may be more than worth it – but keep in mind that they aren’t the most recent versions. As with regular laptops, big amounts of RAM and SSD capacity are also highly useful for gaming laptops, especially if you intend to have many games installed at the same time. Is it worthwhile to wait until Black Friday to purchase a Laptop?

People always desire laptops, and large retailers know it, which is why Black Friday laptop deals are among the most extensive offerings over the sales weekend. The more competition there is, the better for us as customers because virtual stores will be constantly competing for your money. If you haven’t decided on anything yet, we strongly advise you to wait and see what’s available.

However, if you’ve been monitoring prices on your preferred model decline, it could be time to consider getting in early. Black Friday laptop deals are no longer limited to the 24 hours preceding the event. With earlier sales bringing merchants so much more income last year and factoring in the shipping issues of 2023, we’re likely to see a lot more spread-out deals season over the following few weeks.

That means you could get a Black Friday-style laptop discount far before the official celebration begins.
